These clickers operate a little different than most other clickers, rather than using an audible "click" for trigger or draw length check it uses a light "thunk" transferred through the bowstring and into your fingers. This quiet operation is perfect for the hunter. Another advantage if used as a trigger the signal is in your fingers on the string. This is a better option than going from your ears. Once you get used to it you will find it becomes a smooth effortless trigger with no delay.
